Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 4.-7.2.2016 ♥

Last month I had to do a visa run and I chose to go to Kuala Lumpur which is really convenient due to its near location. Fortunately I ended up getting 2 days off from work so I had a long weekend to spend there. I flew there on Thursday morning and came back on Sunday afternoon. This time I only flew with AirAsia and so far I have been satisfied with their service. One thing they could try to make better is the check-in service at the airport because on Thursday I was really nervous about making to the flight due to a really long check-in line. But it's something I can also forgive because most of the airlines have long lines no matter how many counters they use etc. So for a cheap airline AirAsia is really good!  During my trip I went to see a few "must-see" places and checked out some shopping places. I was interested in going up to the KL Tower but just like in Singapore, I decided not to use my money for that. I was also lucky to see it really well from my hotel r...

Marble Temple & Wat Pho

Kuva
Earlier this month I met up with my Japanese friend and also a French girl who is living on the same floor as me. We went to see two temples: Marble Temple and Wat Pho. I had visited Marble Temple already last October but I was happy to go there again since I hadn't seen the whole place. After a LOT of walking in the torturing heat and sun, we went to eat in a pier where we could watch the Chao Phraya river and a temple across the other side. We had a very fun day and it was nice to meet a new person and also make a new friend.  Here's some pictures from that day:  Marble Temple:  Wat Pho  Lastly a picture from the restaurant on the pier. Across on the other side of the river you can see Wat Arun which was under some kind of construction. Hopefully the maintenance work will end before I will go there with my friend :) xoxo, Elina

Seoul, South-Korea 19.-30.12.2014 ♥

Early last year, me and my mum decided we would go to Seoul and spend our Christmas there. That way we would avoid all the craziness that Christmas brings at home.  Right after our trip, I thought it was a very good idea!  I got to do something that I love very much: shopping :D  At the same time I got to spend time with my mum which is always very nice. I also got to experience Christmas in somewhere else than in Finland and that was an interesting change.  There were a lot of nice Christmas lights, decorations and Christmas trees near our apartment and all over in Seoul. We could also hear Christmas songs when we walked outside. Of course the food that we ate on Christmas Eve was way different than usually but still it was good. So in the end it wasn't so bad spending the Christmas there :) That's good because I won't probably spend the next one in Finland either... So we spent 10 days in Seoul and we had rented an apartment from the Airbnb website....

The rest of our trip we were in Bangkok which is my one of my favorite places ♥ We went shopping (of course) , sightseeing and to eat different kinds of food.  I got to see and experience a lot of new things although I have been in Bangkok already over 10 times. It's just so huge place that you can always find something new and exciting from there.  I think this time I will keep my writing very short and just show you some (a lot!)  pictures which you can enjoy :)  So here we go:  This hotel and our room were very nice! It's located on Petchburi Road. very near the Pantip Plaza, Platinum mall etc. Chinatown   We went shopping Chinatown a few times  and also in the Chatuchack weekend market. There are A LOT of stuff sold in both of these places.  Whatever you need you will find it :D Strawberry-Milk ♥♥ On one evening we also went to the new Asiatique Market  which replaces the old Lum...
