I wake up to your sunset

For the past 3 weeks I have been busy organising my move, spending last days with my exchange friends and also last weeks in Bangkok. Earlier this month I said final goodbyes to my dear friend Madoka who went back to her home country Japan. We spent her last day here together just the two of us and I felt so sad the whole day. Of course we had our funny moments but still I got more and more sad as the day went by. I gave her a Moomin mug and some Moomin candy that my mum brought from Finland as a farewell present. She loves Moomins so I was happy to give those to her and also because they were something to remind her of Finland and me :) I also got a handwritten card from her and the text was something that I will never forget. I got tears in my eyes while reading it because I felt so thankful to have met such a kind and honest person. Sorry I haven't been writing for a while but my mother was visiting me the past 2 weeks. So I used most of my time with her. We went shopping in various places, visited IKEA and just hanged out together. I was so glad to see her after 4 months although I had talked with her a lot in Skype. That's why yesterday when she left, was the saddest and hardest day for me so far during this exchange. To be honest I cried many times at home during the day and it felt really odd that she wasn't here anymore because I had gotten quite used to it already. Now I'm starting to feel okay but I'm still sad because I don't know when I will see her again and there's some scary and exciting things ahead.  In other words I got an internship place from Valmet which is a Finnish company but internationally located. Hey everyone! How's your November going? :) My month has been and still will be full of exciting events. I had my 21st birthday on the beginning of the month and last Wednesday I travelled to Osaka! I went there because I got tickets to EXO's ExoLuXion in Osaka concert or actually it was a 2 day ticket and at the same time I got to meet up with my friend, who is an exchange student there, after a long time. I got back to Bangkok this morning at 4am which meant that I have been super tired the whole day. I was sad to leave from Osaka because I had so much fun in the concerts and I had missed my friend very much and now that I finally got to see her it was so great that I didn't want to leave yet :( But I might go there again next spring (especially if there's some kpop concert) to see my friend or we'll meet somewhere else in Asia.  Now I have to focus on my remaining school work and exams but luckily under a week I will have the most importan...

Moi ja siis APUA! Torstai ja lähtö kohti Bangkokia ja vaihto-opiskelua on ihan just täällä! Viime viikosta lähtien on ruvennut hieman jännittämään, mutta myös innostumaan lähdöstä enemmän ja enemmän. Vaikkei mitään kriittistä ole enää tarvinnut eikä tarvitse tehdä niin silti on tuntunut, että päivät loppuisivat kesken. Tähän varmaan vaikutti viime viikonloppu kun näin ensin lauantaina ystäviä Tampereelta ja sunnuntaina paria ystävää Raumalta ja molempina päivinä kun piti hyvästellä niin rupesi tuntumaan haikealta ja tuntui, että apua ihan kohta en enää näe heitäkään. Onneksi sentään toinen ystäväni Raumalta lähtee myös Aasiaan vaihtoon niin ollaan jo suunniteltu menevämme Balille marraskuussa viettämään synttäreitä ja koitamme nähdä myös jossain muuallakin syksyn aikana :) Ja onnistuu varmasti skypettäminenkin helpommin ja paremmin kun on vain parin tunnin aikaero toisin kuin Suomen päähän. Vaikkei enää mitään kriittistä ja erityisen tärkeää hommaa ole niin silti pitäisi käydä ostamass...

Kesäistä torstai päivää kaikille! ♥ Tänään on tasan 3 viikkoa siihen kun lähden kohti Bangkokia ja vaihto-opiskelua. Oon saanut hoidettua jo oikeastaan kaikki tärkeät asiat vaihtoa varten (mm. käynyt lääkärissä ja suuhygienistillä, hankkinut lentoliput ja viisumin, hommanut asunnon Bangkokista, hakenut Kelan tukia ja kouluni antamaa apurahaa ja vihdosta viimein eilen sain hommattua kunnon reseptit). Eli nyt voikin sitten kunnolla ruveta nauttimaan jäljellä olevasta ajasta äidin, Oton ja ystävien kanssa. Jotain herkkuja ja lääkkeitä yms pitää vielä mennä ostamaan, mutta vielä ei ole onneksi mikään kiire :)  Lauantaina  menen Raumalle viettämään ystäväni synttäreitä ja vietän yön toisen ystäväni luona. Sain hommattua aivan täydellisen synttärilahjan, jota en malta odottaa antaa sitä ystävälleni. Näette sen myös, mutta vasta vähän myöhemmin :) Vaihdosta vielä sen verran, että sain maanantaina Bangkokin yliopiston tämän syksyn kurssilistan, josta voin siis valita kurssini. S...
