I wake up to your sunset

April and Spring are here! I don't really feel like it's spring because it feels like summer 24/7 here in Thailand. The daily +30 degrees and the almost +40 degrees that have been cherishing (torturing) us nowadays (& will continue for the next weeks) have only increased that feeling. One thing I like in Finland is the 4 seasons we have although I don't mind living somewhere that doesn't have them. For me it's quite hard to choose the best season because I like something in all of them. Summer is nice with its sunshine, green nature, warmth (if we're lucky in Finland) and well it's SUMMER so of course it's awesome. But it also brings out bugs, sometimes too much warmth (yes this has happened in Finland) and well I think that's pretty much all that is negative about summer...In autumn I love how the leaves turn color and the nature looks nice and although I need to abandon my summer clothes once again, I like that I can start using my autumn/w...

There's only 2 weeks (14 days) left until I travel to Thailand for my exchange study!  This is getting more and more exciting and at the same time more sad.  I will be away at least 5-6 months, the actual school ends in the middle of December but I have planned to spend Christmas somewhere and also travel to Australia for the New Year's. My apartment contract ends at the end of January so I will probably stay in Thailand until then but if everything goes well I will come back to Finland next summer. I'm suppose to do my practical training (6 months) in Thailand or somewhere else in Asia or even in the USA but if I don't get it, I will have to come back to Finland earlier. I just really really hope that I can find a suitable internship and maybe even get a real job after that! Fortunately there's still time to find it and I will also ask some help from the school in Bangkok :)  Although there's still some time before I will leave, I have started to gat...

Hello! I hope wherever you are there's better weather than here in Rauma. It has been pouring rain all day + it's freezing therefore I decided not to make my way to Tampere today but tomorrow when it's supposed to be nicer weather :)  I did my last exam, Management Accounting and Controlling (hate that course sooo much!) today so now I'm free and off to start my summer holiday! I can't believe today was the last day of my 2nd school year and that the next time when I'm at school it will be in a foreign country. I feel like I just started this school, was struggling to get used to all of the new things and was having a lot of school work and projects last fall. I hope I passed all of my exams this month so I can go to do my exchange study in peace. I still haven't heard anything from my exchange school but hopefully I will hear something very soon! :)  Now I should pack my things including everything I need in Korea and it's mad difficult! I can't...

Finally we can say that spring is here! The sun is up, temperatures are higher and there are many different signs in the nature (e.g all of the snow is almost gone and more bird sounds). Actually for Finland it's really weird having spring already because we usually have still winter at this time. It's not the same anymore because of global warming and whatever. But I'm not complaining! I love the sun so this is very good! This is good also because when it was very dark and cloudy I was feeling very tired and lazy all the time but now that we have sunny weather maybe I will get more active :) I just hope the grass and the trees would get greener quickly!  Yesterday I went to a doctor who handles birth control things (yes we have specific doctors for that here :D) and because I didn't know that it will take just a few minutes I didn't have my Spanish book with me so I decided to take care of other things and skip the class.
