Hello December ♥

Kuva
So November came and went just like that. Is it really December already? I'm actually excited about this month! There are many things coming...  Next week I'll spend in Japan which I can't wait! I really miss my Japanese friends and I can't believe I'll see EXO perform live once again. After I come back to Finland I'll have a couple of lessons and an exam left. I'm really nervous about the exam... I just hope I can pass it. During that week I'll also start a job with the Finnish post. It's only for 9 days because it's a Christmas helper work but I'm still glad I got it. Extra money = yes please! Someone might think I'm stupid but I'm quite excited to go to work for a change. Even though I'm going to be so busy because I need to prepare for Christmas at the same time. I bet there will be a day (days) when I'm not that excited anymore... Let's look back at last month a bit. As I told earlier I had many birthdays to celebr...

It's all going to work out, right?

For the past 3 weeks I have been busy organising my move, spending last days with my exchange friends and also last weeks in Bangkok. Earlier this month I said final goodbyes to my dear friend Madoka who went back to her home country Japan. We spent her last day here together just the two of us and I felt so sad the whole day. Of course we had our funny moments but still I got more and more sad as the day went by. I gave her a Moomin mug and some Moomin candy that my mum brought from Finland as a farewell present. She loves Moomins so I was happy to give those to her and also because they were something to remind her of Finland and me :) I also got a handwritten card from her and the text was something that I will never forget. I got tears in my eyes while reading it because I felt so thankful to have met such a kind and honest person. I was so glad that at least someone really appreciated the time I spent with her and I had made someone happy. She is really a person who ...

Movie night

Hello everyone! :)  Yesterday was this hockey season's first Lukko-Tappara game so of course we had to go there. This time our Korean exchange student came with me and Johanna to the game. This was her first time and surprisingly she fell in love with ice hockey :D  I felt very glad that she liked it and is interested to go again because ice hockey is a big part of Finnish culture.  The game didn't end well for me and other Tappara fans because Lukko won 2-1 but still it  was very good and exciting game :)  Next Lukko-Tappara game is in the end of January so we need to wait quite a long time. It will be exciting to see how are those teams playing then because now in the beginning it's very different.  My fun weekend will continue tonight when Johanna comes here and we'll eat tortillas and dessert, play Just Dance -games and watch The Hunger Games -movies  (it's a MUST because Johanna hasn't seen them!) .  It's definitely going to ...

Here again!

©   Yesterday began the semi-finals in the Finnish Elite League (Liiga in Finnish) and my team Tappara won the Pelicans (team from Lahti) 4 times so they moved on. Also the team from Rauma, Lukko won 4 times and moved on to the semi-finals.  Now they are playing against each other.  Yesterday was the 1st game in Tampere and Tappara won 5-2 and tomorrow they're playing here in Rauma.   Luckily my friend Johanna is a Lukko fan so she agreed to go there with me and  we also invited William from our class so he could experience some Finnish ice-hockey culture :)  I can't wait for tomorrow evening! It's going to be an intense game because it's Lukko's home game and if Tappara wins the 2nd time already things wouldn't look good for Lukko. That's why because one of the two teams need to win again 4 times in order to move on to the Finals against either Kärpät from Oulu or Saipa from Lappeenranta.  So it's going to be an evening worth wa...
